What error-correction levels are available?
The generator offers the four levels defined by the QR standard (L, M, Q and H). The highest tolerates the most damage — around 30% of the code can be obscured and it still scans — but the pattern becomes denser, which can make it harder to scan at small sizes.
How much content fits in one code?
Capacity depends on the error-correction level you choose: the higher the level, the less data fits. Short content — a URL or a few words — produces a simpler pattern that scans more reliably.
Do custom colours break scanning?
They can. Scanners rely on contrast, so a dark foreground on a light background works best. Inverting the colours, or choosing two similar tones, makes some scanners fail.
Is the generated code sent anywhere?
No. The image is produced by a JavaScript library running in your browser and exported as a data URL. Nothing is uploaded.
