Frequently Asked Questions
- Why does a number end up separated from the word before it?
- Digits are treated as their own segment rather than being joined to the surrounding letters. "hello world 123" becomes helloWorld_123 in camelCase, not helloWorld123. If you need a clean identifier, remove the numeric part or convert it on its own.
- Does it work with non-Latin text?
- Yes. Accented Latin letters, Cyrillic, Greek and CJK characters are preserved rather than stripped — "Привет мир" becomes приветМир in camelCase and "日本語 テスト" becomes 日本語テスト. Punctuation is what gets dropped.
- What happens to apostrophes and hyphens?
- They count as word separators. "don't stop" becomes donTStop, and "well-known thing" becomes wellKnownThing, so the apostrophe and the hyphen do not survive into the converted form.
- Is my text sent anywhere?
- No. All fourteen conversions run in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and the text is not stored — it disappears when you close or reload the page.
